An Improved Version of Rob Frugal Algorithm for Privacy Preserving Mining of Association Rules

Privacy preserving data mining (PPDM) deals with protecting the privacy of individual data or sensitive knowledge without sacrificing the utility of the data. To protect corporate privacy, the data owner will perform Rob Frugal encryption scheme and transforms it to the server. Data owner will send the mining queries to the server and recovers true patterns from the extracted patterns received from the server. Rob Frugal encryption scheme ensures that each transformed item is indistinguishable with respect to the attacker’s background knowledge. ECDH (Elliptic Curve Diffie Hellman) key exchange algorithm was proposed after Rob frugal encryption scheme in order to provide privacy preserving outsourced mining. ECDH algorithm provides bidirectional encryption of client and server which protect against the forging the contents of the communication Index Terms -Privacy preserving data mining, Rob Frugal encryption, Elliptic Curve Diffie Hellman) key exchange algorithm.
